Episode 20: 2020 Paid Search Trends - Part One
Test Gallery Ads. Gallery ads are great for any brand with high-quality creative. This is a great ad format to easily communicate what your brand has to offer to people who are already actively searching for something similar. And it can boost interactions by as much as 25 percent!
Don’t ignore Amazon. The paid search market grew 18% year-over-year (YoY) with a new record of $55.2 billion – and Amazon played a huge part. With a boost from product searches, eMarketer estimates that Amazon will be the only company whose share will grow during the next several years.
Showcase Shopping Ads still matter. Throughout 2019, Showcase Shopping ads saw some serious updates, and now have the ability to appear on Google Images, the Google Discover Feed, and YouTube. This is a great format to test for any brand concerned with building awareness and moving consumers further down the funnel.
