Analytics Technical Specialist

As an Analytics Technical Specialist, you will be responsible for providing our clients with superior web analytics technical implementation and guidance including troubleshooting configurations and performing detailed site analysis on website traffic. You will also be responsible for using web analytics appications to make recommendations that will maximize our clients' web marketing results. Other duties include producing reports to clients summarizing data analysis and developing and executing best practice analytics strategy.

Compensation: $49,400 - 54,340 to start.
Work hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm.
What you need:
- BS/BA degree.
- Intermediate experience with JavaScript, PHP or ASP, and HTML.
- Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with external clients.
- Overall GPA of 3.2 or higher.
- Ability to type 60+ wpm.

- Excellent phone ability; extreme Internet and e-mail proficiency.

- Strong knowledge of business and an excellent command of the English language, both oral and written.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities include:
- Install, configure, and maintain Google Analytics accounts and profiles for clients (if you don’t have Google Analytics experience, we will provide training); guide clients through the process as needed.
- Install and maintain Conversion Tracking Scripts for clients; guide clients through the process as needed.
- Conduct regular and on-demand analysis and reporting for each client's website and marketing campaigns as defined by clients and their designated ROI Revolution management team.
- Identify opportunities with each client for website and marketing optimization.
- Show web analytics to clients in a screen-sharing setting.
- Coordinate with Google engineers to champion successful and timely resolution of escalating software or service issues.
- Research and develop techniques designed to increase efficiency of data collection and use (primarily through JavaScript and Excel).
- Catalogue and communicate discoveries and strategies with all members of ROI Revolution through a shared knowledge base, especially those that pertain to data collection and reporting.
- Provide continuous client follow-up and ensure prompt and proper resolution of technical challenges.
- Contribute regularly to a professional blog with articles relevant to web analytics and website optimization.
- Stay current on analytics, website optimization, and server side web scripting languages and trends through publications, blogs, forums, and self-discovery.
